LinkedIn, a professional networking platform, recently released its list of the top 25 companies in India for 2023. According to the report, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Amazon secured the top two spots on the list, followed by Morgan Stanley in third place. The evaluation was based on eight factors, including career advancement opportunities, skill development, company stability, external opportunities, company affinity, gender diversity, educational background, and employee presence in the nation.
The list comprises companies from different sectors, indicating a shift from tech to various fields. Seventeen of the 25 companies are new to the list. The report was generated based on LinkedIn platform data and took into account factors such as layoffs and attrition.

Factors Considered in the Evaluation
To be eligible for consideration in the top 25 companies in India list, businesses had to have at least 500 employees as of December 31, 2022. Companies that publicly reported layoffs of over 10% of their workforce between January 1, 2022, and the release of the list were not considered. Additionally, companies with an employee turnover rate exceeding 10% during the ranking period were also ineligible.
Advice for Job Seekers
Nirajita Banerjee, LinkedIn’s Career Expert and Managing Editor for India, offered some advice for job seekers. Banerjee advised that job seekers should research the company they are interested in working for, show genuine interest and enthusiasm, be curious and eager to learn, learn skills that are in high demand, and not give up. The 2023 Top Companies list provides job seekers with valuable information and resources for finding employment opportunities at top companies that offer career advancement and long-term success in uncertain times.
