In recent years, smartphones have evolved to become an essential part of our daily lives. As technology continues to progress, companies are now offering innovative and creative ways to make smartphones more efficient and convenient for their users. One of the latest advancements in foldable screen technology, which provides an immersive experience for users while offering a sleek and modern design. VIVO, one of China’s leading smartphone manufacturers, has recently released its brand-new foldable smartphone, the VIVO X Fold 2.
Design and Features
The VIVO X Fold 2 is considered to be the world’s most advanced folding-screen smartphone and is the perfect option for individuals who are obsessed with the latest technology. The phone features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processing platform, LPDDR5X memory, and UFS 4.0 flash storage, making it one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. Additionally, the phone employs an ultra-wide-area intelligent heat dissipation system with a 2558mm2 VC soaking plate and nano heat conduction gel for heat dissipation, which allows for optimal performance.
The phone comes with two screens, an inner and an outer screen, that offer an immersive experience for users. The inner screen has a resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz (LTPO 4.0), a superconducting anti-reflective coating, an 1800-nit peak brightness, a SCHOTT UTG glass cover, and a Samsung E6 phosphor material.
The phone has passed SGS low blue light eye protection certification, supports multi-angle hovering, and has a 3D ultrasonic screen fingerprint. The outer screen is 6.53 inches and has a resolution of 2560 x 1080, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and it uses Samsung E6 luminescent material. This display also supports screen fingerprints using 3D ultrasonics.
The VIVO X Fold 2 also features a 16MP camera lens on the outer screen and uses the VCS bionic spectrum technology developed by VIVO and Sony for its 50MP main camera. The last option lessens commotion by 20%, and increments variety multiplication capacity by 15%. The other two sensors have a 12MP goal, and one of them is a portrait lens, while the other is an ultra-wide-angle lens that reduces distortion. A self-developed V2 imaging chip is also available, which significantly improves the brightness of night shots and preserves details in dark areas.
Battery and Charging
One of the most impressive features of the VIVO X Fold 2 is its battery life and charging capabilities. It is the world’s first cell phone to offer both 120W link charging and 50W remote charging, as well as a monstrous 4800mAh battery. In 26 minutes, the latter could be fully charged, while wireless charging will take 50 minutes. The phone also supports 10W wireless reverse charging.
