However, an unboxing video of the phone has surfaced online, revealing its design and features.
The phone’s design has been teased by Vivo ahead of its official release date, and the new video provides a more detailed look at the phone’s design from every angle. The rear panel of the phone is dual-toned with a glossy film covering it in the direction of the hinge. The circular housing on the rear panel houses the phone’s three cameras and LED flash, including an ultra-wide camera with a focal length of 16mm and a telephoto camera with a focal length of 47mm.
The Vivo X Fold 2 features a 120Hz AMOLED display with its own version of the Flex mode that is found in Samsung foldable phones. The hinge mechanism was not described in detail in the video, but the dock menu added to the foldable display’s bottom includes a variety of apps similar to those in Apple’s macOS. The phone has two hole-punch cutouts, one in the upper right corner of the foldable display and one in the upper left corner of the cover screen. The front display has a built-in fingerprint scanner.

Rumors suggest that the phone will have an 8-inch E6 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and support for 2K resolution.
The triple rear camera setup may include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX633 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto lens. The phone is expected to have a 4800mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging.
