Google is set to launch the Pixel 7a at the upcoming Google I/O event on May 11, and rumours suggest that the company may also launch its first foldable device, the Google Pixel Fold. In addition to these announcements, Roland Quandt and WinFuture have revealed that Google is launching the Pixel Buds A-series in a new Sky Blue colour option.

The Google Pixel Buds A-series were first introduced last year in June, and currently come in Charcoal, Clearly White, and Dark Olive colour options. The upcoming Sky Blue colour option will likely be launched to match the Blue colour variant of the upcoming Pixel 7a.

The Google Pixel Buds A-series feature a custom-designed 12 mm dynamic speaker driver and support passive noise reduction. They also have a spatial vent for in-ear pressure reduction and spatial awareness.

The Pixel Buds A-series rely on Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and can be paired with Android devices, iOS devices, and laptops. Each earbud of the Pixel Buds A-series features a capacitive touch sensor and an IR proximity sensor for in-ear detection.

The Pixel Buds A-series offer up to 5 hours of music playback on a single charge, and up to 24 hours of music playback when using the charging case. They feature a Type-C port for charging but do not support wireless charging.
