Asus, the Taiwanese computer hardware and electronics company, has recently introduced a new range of laptops in India powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The new Asus ZenBook and VivoBook laptops are designed to cater to the needs of professionals, gamers, and students who demand top-of-the-line performance from their devices. Asus ZenBook 14 OLED

AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPUs are found in the brand-new ZenBook 14 OLED (UM3402). It has a design made entirely of metal and is durable to military-grade US MIL-STD 810H standards. This laptop has 16 GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 1 TB SSD.

The 14-inch laptop has a resolution of 2880 x 1800, a 16:10 HDR OLED panel, a refresh rate of 90 Hz, and an opening angle of 180 degrees. Asus has used a 65W fast charger and a 75WHr battery. The power button of the backlit keyboard houses a fingerprint scanner.

The ZenBook 14 OLED has a 3.5mm audio jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Micro SD card reader, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C) ports that can both be used for charging and display output, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port.

Starting at 89,990, it will be available in Jade Black and with an IPS display with 2.5K resolution, 400 nits of brightness, and 100% sRGB coverage.

Asus ZenBook 14

Beginning with the ZenBook 14 arrangement, this series is accessible regardless of an OLED show, and you’d have to pay Rs 3,000 for something else for the OLED variation.

All other specifications are the same at this location. AMD Ryzen 5 7530U or Ryzen 7 7730U processors with integrated Radeon graphics, 16GB LPDDR4 memory, and 512GB or 1TB of PCIe Gen3 SSD storage are among these options.

The OLED display has a screen resolution of 2.8K, HDR certification, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a color gamut that is 100% DCI-P3. The IPS screen used in the non-OLED panel has a 2.5K resolution, a standard 60Hz refresh rate, and 100% sRGB color gamut coverage.

Different specs incorporate a virtual number cushion inside the trackpad, full HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5, an illuminated chiclet console, three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (with two being USB-C), one HDMI 2.1 port and a microSD card peruser, and a 75Whr battery with 65W USB-C charging.

Asus VivoBook Go

The VivoBook Go 14 is the most affordable of the three SKUs. It comes with either the AMD Ryzen 3 7320U or Ryzen 5 7520U processors and a 14-inch full HD IPS display. Additionally, it comes with a user-upgradable 512GB PCIe Gen3 SSD and 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5 memory.

In terms of wireless connectivity, additional important features include an HD webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5, and three USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, two of which are USB-C, one HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm audio port. In addition, it has a keyboard with backlighting and a 42Wh battery with a 45W DC charging adapter.

Except for the display and, in the case of the 15-inch non-OLED model, the battery, the specifications of the VivoBook Go 15 and Go 15 OLED are identical. The Go 15 has a 15.6-inch full HD IPS panel, a 50Wh battery, and a 65W DC charging adapter. The panel has 250 nits of peak brightness.

The Go 15 OLED has the same battery as the Go 14, but it has a 15.6-inch HDR-rated OLED display with a 600-nits peak brightness and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

Asus VivoBook

The processor, RAM, and storage options in the VivoBook portfolio are identical to those in the ZenBook series. However, they have 42Whr battery packs and 45W chargers, HD webcams instead of full HD, and a fingerprint scanner and dedicated number pad in addition to the backlit keyboard.

The VivoBook 16 has a 16-inch WUXGA 16:10 IPS display with 300 nits of peak brightness, whereas the 14-inch and 15-inch OLED variants have the same displays as the VivoBook Go OLED editions.

Asus VivoBook 15X, S14 Flip

The VivoBook 15X highlights similar execution specs as the ZenBook setup and the 15-inch OLED shown in the spec sheets above. It has a lid made of aluminum that has been certified to be of military grade by the US and comes with a 65W charging and 50Whr battery.

The only convertible in the lineup is the S14 Flip, which comes with up to Ryzen 5 7530U processors, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. It has a 14-inch full HD IPS display that accepts touch inputs and is the device’s most important selling point.
