The iQOO 8 series is expected to make its debut in the Chinese market in May 2023, with rumors swirling about the iQOO Neo 8 Pro’s display and chipset ahead of its release. The iQOO Neo 8 Master is slated to be one of two models released in the Neo 8 series, with specifications leaked on Weibo.
The Neo 8 Pro is said to feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2800 x 1260 pixels, as well as 2160Hz PWM dimming support. The device is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, while the vanilla model is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It is also expected to come with a 5,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging, along with up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and up to 16GB of RAM.
On the camera front, the iQOO Neo 8 Pro is rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary back camera sensor, an ultra-wide angle sensor, and a telephoto sensor, with a camera sensor size of 1/1.5 inches.
