Motorola is set to release its latest foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Plus 2023, according to reports from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The new device is said to support 5G and boasts a 3,640mAh battery, which is larger than its predecessor’s 3,500mAh battery. The listing also confirms that the device will support 33W fast charging, faster than previously suggested.
The Motorola Razr Plus was first hinted at by a Lenovo executive at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023, and design renders have since surfaced, giving fans an idea of what to expect. The device is expected to have an exterior display of 2.7 inches, the same size as its predecessor. It is rumored to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM.
The device was spotted on the FCC website with the model number XT2321, suggesting that its launch is imminent. While there is no confirmed release date yet, fans are excited to see the latest foldable smartphone from Motorola.
The Motorola Razr 2022 is set to release in China starting in August 2022, with a base model price of CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs. 70,750) for 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Prices for variants with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 512GB storage are CNY 6,499 (approximately Rs. 76,650) and CNY 7,299 (approximately Rs. 86,000), respectively.
