OnePlus has launched a new addition to its Y1S series, the 40-inch version of its budget smart TV in India. This is the third smart TV in the series lineup, which previously included 32-inch and 43-inch screen sizes. The new 40-inch model is positioned between the other two models in terms of price and features.
The OnePlus TV Y1S 40-inch model is priced at Rs 21,999 and comes with a Full HD display that supports HDR10+ and has thin bezels. It also features the OnePlus Gamma Engine, which enhances colors, dynamic range, and clarity. A 20W speaker system is included with the smart TV that supports Dolby Audio.
The smart TV is powered by a MediaTek MT9216 quad-core processor and a Mali G32 MP2 GPU. It has 8GB of internal storage and 1GB of RAM. The Y1S 40-inch smart TV runs on Android TV 11 and supports OxygenPlay 2.0, which allows users to access a wide range of content from both regional and international content partners. It also has Google Assistant, built-in Chromecast, and Miracast support.
Users can also directly access more than 230 live channels as part of the OxygenPlay 2.0 and keep up to date with the latest news and sports updates. Connecting OnePlus Buds or a OnePlus Watch to the smart TV gives users access to the ecosystem experience. Users can also connect their smartphones to the TV using the OnePlus Interface 2.0 and participate in a connected ecosystem experience by OnePlus.
The smart TV comes with a Bluetooth remote that has hotkeys for Netflix, Prime Video, and other streaming services. It also has two USB Type-C ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 support, a data saver, and an RJ45 connecter port.
The OnePlus TV Y1S 40-inch model will be available on Amazon India, Flipkart, the OnePlus online store, and other platforms starting from April 14. The smart TV is expected to appeal to users who want a larger display and the same features as the 43-inch model without spending a lot more.
