OnePlus is all set to launch its new smartphone, the Nord CE 3 Lite, in India on April 4. The upcoming device is expected to replace the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite, and its key specifications and design features have already been confirmed by the Shenzen-based mobile manufacturer. In a recent interview with Tech Radar, Kinder Liu, the company’s president and COO, shed more light on the new device’s important features.
According to Liu, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite will feature a 6.72-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is an upgrade from its predecessor’s 6.59-inch display. The device will also use the same Snapdragon 695 5G SoC as the Nord CE 2 Lite and will run OxygenOS 13.1 on top of Android 13.
Liu also confirmed that the device will launch as a midrange gaming device, offering features such as Quick Startup, Game Focus Mode, and GPA Frame Stabilizer. The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite is expected to come with a 108-megapixel primary camera and a 3x lossless zoom feature, as well as a Drove streak module located next to the triple back camera unit on the back panel.
The device will have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 67W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The Nord CE 3 Lite will be available in two colors, Pastel Lime and Chromatic Gray.
As per a previous leak, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G is expected to cost Rs. 21,999 in India and will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, though the storage options have not yet been confirmed.
The OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite seems to be a promising device for midrange gaming enthusiasts, with its 120Hz display, Snapdragon 695 5G SoC, and OxygenOS 13.1. The new device’s improved features and specifications make it a worthy successor to the Nord CE 2 Lite.
