Oppo has launched its latest smartphone, the Oppo A1 5G, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset and features a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging support. This latest smartphone from Oppo is available in China for CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 23,800) and comes with a single storage configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone runs on ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.

 

Design and Display

The Oppo A1 5G features a 6.71-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 391 ppi. The touch sampling rate of 360 Hz and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz ensures a smooth and seamless user experience. Additionally, the display has a local peak brightness of 680 nits, making it easy to read in bright sunlight.

 

The phone comes in three attractive color options, namely Caberia Orange, Sandstone Black, and Ocean Blue. The Caberia Orange model has textured car stitching and a small leather back panel with a lychee pattern, making it stand out in the crowd.

 

Performance and Storage

The Oppo A1 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, making it a powerful device that can handle multiple tasks at once. It has 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, ensuring smooth and seamless performance even with heavy applications.

 

Camera and Battery

The Oppo A1 5G boasts a dual rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an LED flash panel. The focal points are housed in two upward-direction adjusted roundabout modules on the upper left of the backboard. The 8-megapixel front camera lens is set inside a focused opening punch space at the highest point of the showcase, making it perfect for taking high-quality selfies.

 

The phone has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 67W SuperVOOC wired fast charging, ensuring that users can quickly charge their devices on the go. According to reports, Oppo is also developing a 300W SuperVOOC wired fast charging system with a 4,450mAh battery, which will make it even more convenient for users to charge their devices.

 

Connectivity and Security

The Oppo A1 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security, along with a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. It also has Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, Glonass, BeiDou, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, and other connectivity options, ensuring that users can stay connected to the internet wherever they go.
