Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is set to launch the Oppo A1 5G in China soon, and the smartphone has been spotted on several certification sites including Geekbench, TENAA, and China Telecom. These sites have revealed some key details about the upcoming smartphone, including its specifications, possible pricing, and even color variants.
According to reports, the Oppo A1 5G is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 695 SoC and come pre-installed with Android 13. The smartphone is expected to have a 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD display, as suggested by its TENAA listing. Additionally, the China Telecom listing indicates that the phone will launch in three color variants, Cabernet Red Orange, Ocean Blue, and Sandstone Dark.
The phone is also rumored to come with 256GB of storage and two RAM options – 8GB and 12 GB. In terms of camera capabilities, the phone is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. For selfies, the phone is expected to come with an 8-megapixel front camera.
The anticipated price of the Oppo A1 5G has also been leaked, with reports suggesting that the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant could cost around CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 25,075), while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant may cost CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 27,460).
Twitter user Prince Maurya (@TechStyle_47) also shared screenshots of the Oppo A1 5G’s listings on the Geekbench and TENAA certification websites. The phone received a single-core score of 688 and a multi-core score of 2045 on Geekbench, hinting at an Octacore Qualcomm chipset, possibly based on an Octacore 695 SoC.
The TENAA certification website listing suggests that the Oppo A1 5G will come with storage options of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and a 4,880mAh battery. However, there are no details about the charging support.
With its impressive specifications and rumored affordable pricing, the Oppo A1 5G could be a promising addition to the Chinese smartphone market. Fans of the brand will be eagerly anticipating its release, with the smartphone expected to become available for purchase soon.
