POCO, the popular smartphone brand, is all set to launch its latest budget phone, the POCO C51, in India on April 7 through Flipkart. The upcoming device boasts several impressive features such as a massive 5,000mAh battery, an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, an 8-megapixel dual-rear camera, and more.
According to a Flipkart listing, the POCO C51 will sport a 6.52-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch on the front. The device will also come with a rear fingerprint sensor on the back and will be available in two colors: Blue and Dark. The phone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 processor, along with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.2 storage. It will also feature virtual RAM technology that can be used as RAM with up to 3GB of storage. The POCO C51 will run on Android 13 Go Edition out of the box.
In terms of camera specifications, the device will come with a dual-rear camera setup featuring an 8-megapixel resolution, a QVGA lens, and an LED flash. On the front, it will sport a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone will pack a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging and is expected to have a micro-USB charging port. It will also come with connectivity options such as Dual-SIM, 4G, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and 2.4GHz WiFi.
As for the pricing, it is expected that the POCO C51 will cost somewhere between Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000 in India.
It is noteworthy that the POCO C51 is rumored to be a rebranded version of the Redmi A2+ in India, with similar specifications and features. However, fans are eagerly waiting for the official launch to know more about the device and its availability in India.
