Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has launched its new F5 series smartphones, including the F5 Pro 5G and F5 5G, which offer great features and specifications. The POCO F5 5G is the first smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC in India, offering powerful and smooth performance. Meanwhile, the POCO F5 Pro boasts a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and advanced features, which are being released globally.
Design and Display
Both phones feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, providing users with a smooth and clear visual experience. The F5 5G comes in Electric Blue, Snowstorm White, and Carbon Black color options, while the F5 Pro is available in Black and White.
Performance and Battery
The POCO F5 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC based on a 4nm processor, with a claimed AnTuTu score of 969,903 points, providing a fast and efficient experience. It packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, allowing users to charge the phone quickly and easily.
On the other hand, the POCO F5 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and has a larger 5160mAh battery. It also supports wireless charging, which is a first for POCO smartphones and comes with 67W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.

Both devices have a triple-camera setup on the back, with the POCO F5 5G featuring a 64MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro sensor. On the other hand, the F5 Pro has a 64MP Omnivision OV64B sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree FoV, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, both phones have a 16MP front camera.

The POCO F5 5G is available in India with two storage options, an 8GB RAM variant priced at Rs 29,999, and a 12GB RAM variant priced at Rs 33,999. Customers with an ICICI Bank card can get a discount of Rs 3,000 on the 8GB RAM variant, while those who exchange their old POCO smartphone can get an additional Rs 1,000 discount on the purchase of the F5 5G via Flipkart. The F5 5G is available in Electric Blue, Snowstorm White, and Carbon Black color options.
The POCO F5 Pro, on the other hand, has been launched globally with three storage options, an 8GB + 128GB model priced at $449, a 12GB + 256GB model priced at $499, and a 12GB + 512GB model priced at $549. The early-bird offer for the F5 Pro offers a $20 discount on the 8GB RAM variant and a $50 discount on the 12GB RAM variants.
