Samsung is gearing up to release its mid-range smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A24. The device was recently spotted on the Malaysian SIRIM certification website, suggesting that it will be available soon. Earlier, the phone’s support page went live on the Indian website of the company, indicating that its release is near.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to come with a 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display featuring a waterdrop notch at the top and a refresh rate of 90Hz. A 13MP selfie camera is expected to be housed in the notch. At the back, the Samsung Galaxy A24 will reportedly feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS support, a 5MP super wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
In terms of software, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to come pre-installed with the latest custom skin for Android 13 called OneUI 5.0. The device is anticipated to feature an octa-core Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of onboard memory.
Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is said to have a 5,000mAh battery that is compatible with 25W fast charging. The device is expected to have two SIM cards, according to the SIRIM certification listing, and may soon be available in India and other Asian markets.
While the SIRIM certification listing did not provide any new information about the device, it does confirm that the Samsung Galaxy A24 is well on its way to release. Samsung has not yet officially announced the release date for the Galaxy A24, but with all the recent leaks and certifications, it’s safe to say that it will be hitting the market soon.
With its impressive specs, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is set to be a promising mid-range smartphone option for consumers looking for a phone with a good camera, a powerful processor, and a long-lasting battery. As with any upcoming release, it’s important to wait for the official announcement before making any purchase decisions.
