Samsung is set to release its latest high-end tablets later this year. The Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to refresh Samsung’s premium Android tablet line in India. The series includes three tablets – the Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. Recently, leaked information about the vanilla Tab S9 has been circulating, while new design renders for the S9 Plus have been made public by a new report from Wolf of Tablet, citing leaker OnLeaks.

According to the renders, the design of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is expected to be similar to its predecessor. However, there are a few minor adjustments to the design. The rear camera module design has changed, with an LED flash seen below two circular cutouts. The design of the camera setup is similar to that of the top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 series. On the back, there is also a magnetic strip running towards the bottom to support the S Pen.

On the front, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is said to have a 12.9-inch display screen with a resolution of 1752 x 2800 pixels and a PPI of 266. A significant change in the upcoming Samsung tablet is the presence of two sensors on the right bezel, which is expected to provide additional functionality.

According to OnLeaks, the Tab S9 Plus will be slightly slimmer than its predecessor with dimensions of 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.64, while the Galaxy Tab S8 Plus has dimensions of 285 x 185 x 5.7 mm. The tablet also features a quad-speaker setup and a USB Type-C port at the bottom, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus is expected to be a premium Android tablet and will likely go on sale in the second half of 2023. The tablet is expected to receive an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, and it may be launched alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, which are rumored to be launched in July or August 2023.
