Tecno, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is set to release a new device – the Tecno Camon 20 Pro 4G, as a replacement for the Camon 18 Premier. A new leak from a reputable tipster suggests that the phone will feature a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC and hints at some of the device’s key specifications. The release of the Spark 10 Pro and Spark 10 5G smartphones in India and the recent headlines made by the Tecno Phantom V Fold, the company’s first foldable smartphone, suggest that Tecno is continuing to expand its portfolio.

The Camon 20 Pro 4G is expected to have a 6.67-inch full-HD+ (1080 x 2400) AMOLED display and will run on Android 13-based HiOS 13 out-of-the-box. The device is anticipated to have up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone is also expected to feature a triple rear camera unit, which will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel wide-angle lens, and an AI sensor. The front camera is expected to be a 32-megapixel sensor housed in a centrally aligned hole-punch slot at the top of the display. Additionally, the battery capacity of the phone is said to be 5,000 mAh.

The Camon 20 Pro 4G is expected to be available in Serenity Blue and Predawn Black color options, and will likely cost less than Rs. 20,000 in India. It will be launched alongside the other models in the Camon 20 series later this year. The Camon 20 series is expected to include the base Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, and Camon 20 Premier 5G models with similar designs.
