A comparison with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro, for instance, reveals that the latter starts with the model number SM-R510. This distinction suggests that the upcoming earbuds might not be a Pro variant. Instead, they could belong to the standard Galaxy Buds 3 lineup or potentially bear the designation of an FE (Fan Edition) model.
Notably, it has been approximately two years since Samsung introduced a non-Pro version of its Galaxy Buds, with the Galaxy Buds 2 arriving in 2021. With this context, the impending launch gains significance as it might mark the successor to the Galaxy Buds 2. The Galaxy S23 FE recently surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) platform with the model number SM-S711B/DS. This alignment in launch schedules suggests a coordinated effort by Samsung to introduce multiple innovative products to the market in a synchronized manner.
