Vivo, the popular smartphone manufacturer, is all set to expand its T-series of smartphones in India with the launch of the Vivo T2 5G series. The series is expected to succeed the Vivo T1 lineup that was introduced in the nation last year. The series will comprise two models – the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G, and is set to go on sale on April 11, 2023. The smartphones’ primary details are already available on the Flipkart microsite, and additional specifications are expected to be revealed in the days leading up to the launch.

Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T2 5G series, which includes the Vivo T2 5G and Vivo T2x 5G smartphones, will launch on April 11 at 12 PM IST. The smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart, the official Vivo website, and a few select retail establishments across the nation. The official teasers of the series showcase the models in gold and blue colors.

As per the information available on the Flipkart microsite, the upcoming Vivo T2 5G and T2x 5G smartphones will feature Full HD+ AMOLED displays with a contrast ratio of 6000000:1, a touch sampling rate of 360Hz, and 1300 nits of local peak brightness. The organization has confirmed that it will reveal the camera details of the device on April 7 and the processor details on April 9. However, the company has teased that the smartphones will utilize Qualcomm’s Snapdragon SoCs.

The base model of the Vivo T2 5G is expected to come with a 64-megapixel rear primary lens that will include optical image stabilization (OIS) support. This model is expected to cost around Rs. 20,000 and will be the most affordable Vivo smartphone in India. On the other hand, the Vivo T2x 5G model is expected to be available in three RAM and storage options – 4GB RAM + 128GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The phone is expected to have two storage options – 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.

Vivo introduced the Vivo T1 5G smartphone in India in February 2022, which was equipped with a Snapdragon 695 SoC. The base model of the Vivo T1 5G, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, retails for Rs. 15,990 and has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

In conclusion, the Vivo T2 5G series launch in India is an exciting development for smartphone enthusiasts who are looking for feature-packed devices at affordable prices. With the confirmed launch date and the available primary details, we can expect a significant buzz around the upcoming Vivo T2 5G and T2x 5G smartphones. It remains to be seen how well they perform in the market and whether they live up to the expectations set by the Vivo T1 lineup.
