Gaming enthusiasts in the country can catch a glimpse of the price and launch date of the device ahead of its official release. However, it seems that Indian gamers might have to shell out more compared to their US counterparts for these portable gaming devices.
Expected Price of Asus ROG Ally in India
According to the listing on retailer MX2 Games (via MySmartPrice), the Asus ROG Ally with the AMD Z1 processor is expected to be priced at Rs. 71,499, while the model featuring the AMD Z1 Extreme chip could cost Rs. 79,999.
These prices are significantly higher than the launch prices in the US, where the Asus ROG Ally is priced at $599 (approximately Rs. 49,300) and $699 (approximately Rs. 57,500) respectively.
Launch Date and Import Speculation
While the retailer’s listing mentions a launch date of June 16 for the Asus ROG Ally, it’s important to note that the company has not officially announced any plans for the device’s release in India. The global availability of the device is confirmed for June 13, which suggests that these could be imported models.
