Motorola has officially launched its highly anticipated Motorola Razr 40 series, introducing two new smartphones to the market – the Motorola Razr 40 and the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. These devices showcase a sleek clamshell design and feature a secondary display on the back. Packed with innovative features, they aim to redefine the smartphone experience. Both the Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra boast stunning displays that provide an immersive visual experience. The Razr 40 Ultra sports a massive 6.9-inch pOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate of 165Hz, ensuring smooth scrolling and vibrant visuals. On the other hand, the Razr 40 features a 6.9-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. These displays deliver crisp images, vibrant colors, and excellent viewing angles, taking multimedia and gaming to the next level.

 

Secondary Display and Clamshell Design

One of the standout features of the Motorola Razr 40 series is the inclusion of a secondary display. The Razr 40 Ultra comes with a 3.6-inch QuickView pOLED display on the cover, offering quick access to notifications, time, and other essential information. Meanwhile, the Razr 40 features a 1.5-inch secondary display, providing at-a-glance information and quick control access without needing to open the device. Both devices support fast charging, with the Razr 40 Ultra offering 33W wired fast charging and the Razr 40 providing 30W wired fast charging. The Motorola Razr 40 series runs on the latest Android 13 operating system, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience. These devices offer a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G support, dual-SIM capabilities, WiFi 6E, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.3. They also come with USB Type-C ports for quick data transfer and charging.

 

Pricing and Availability

The Motorola Razr 40 series comes in various attractive colors. The Razr 40 is available in Azure Grey, Cherry Powder, and Bright Moon White, while the Razr 40 Ultra is offered in Infinite Black, Glacier Blue, and Viva Magenta. The Razr 40 is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 46,400) for the base model, with prices going up to CNY 4,699 (around Rs 54,600) for higher RAM and storage configurations. The Razr 40 Ultra starts at CNY 5,699 (about Rs 66,000) and goes up to CNY 6,499 (roughly Rs 75,400) for the top-end variant. The devices are available for pre-order in China, and sales will commence on June 5th.
