Initially, speculations suggested that the Oppo Find N3 would be exclusively available in China, following the footsteps of its predecessors, Find N and Find N2. However, recent appearances of the device on certification platforms in Thailand and Indonesia indicate that these markets will also witness the Find N3’s release.
Rumors are now circulating around OnePlus’s rumored foldable phone, known as the OnePlus Open, which is speculated to launch on August 29. There is a possibility that the OnePlus Open could be a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N3, although no concrete information is available yet to confirm the similarities or differences between the two devices.
Considering the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5’s starting price of $1,799 in the global market, it is expected that the Oppo Find N3 (or OnePlus Open) might be priced more competitively. As we await further details from Oppo, it won’t be long before key specifications of the Find N3 are officially revealed.
Potential Specifications of Oppo Find N3
Rumors suggest that the Oppo Find N3 will boast a 6.5-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display on the outer screen, complemented by a larger 8-inch AMOLED 2K 120Hz display on the inside. The device is rumored to pack a substantial 4,805mAh battery with support for both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Under the hood, the Find N3 is expected to feature the 3.36GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, akin to the Galaxy Z Fold 5. It will likely be paired with a massive 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Running on ColorOS 13.1 and Android 13, the Find N3 is poised to deliver a powerful performance.
As for the cameras, the foldable phone is rumored to offer a 32-megapixel front camera and potentially either a 32-megapixel or 20-megapixel internal camera. On the back, the rear camera setup is expected to impress with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
With the launch of the Oppo Find N3 (and possibly the OnePlus Open), foldable phone enthusiasts have much to look forward to in the coming month. Stay tuned for more official details from Oppo and OnePlus as the excitement builds up to their respective launches.
