OPPO has officially confirmed the launch date of the highly anticipated Reno 10 series and provided a glimpse of its design.
Stylish Color Options and Triple-Camera Setup
The Reno 10 series will be available in stunning Gold and Purple color options. The teaser video showcases the rear panel design, featuring a triple-camera setup housed within a pill-shaped module.
The camera module boasts a dual-tone design, with the bottom half matching the color of the rear panel. A square-shaped cutout at the bottom suggests the inclusion of a periscope lens, rumored to be present in the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G. However, specific camera details have not been revealed in the teaser.
Curved Display and Slim Bezels
Teasers on OPPO’s official Weibo account also unveil the Reno 10 series’ curved display. The device sports a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and a SIM tray at the bottom edge, while the power and volume buttons are located on the right side. Notably, the chin bezel is impressively slim, measuring only 2.12mm.
Expected Specifications and Features
While OPPO has not provided detailed specifications, leaked information suggests that the Reno 10 Pro+ 5G will boast a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64MP periscope lens.
The device is likely to feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Additionally, it is expected to have a 4700mAh battery with 100W fast charging and a 32MP front camera.
The Reno 10 Pro is anticipated to share the same display specifications as the Pro+ model, with a Dimensity 8200 SoC, a 4600mAh battery, and 100W fast charging. Its triple-camera setup will consist of a 50MP Sony IMX890 main camera, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Lastly, the Reno 10 will feature a Snapdragon 778G SoC, a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with curved edges, and an 80W fast charging-compatible 4600mAh battery. Its triple-camera setup is rumored to include a 64MP OmniVision main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. A 32MP front camera will handle selfies. All three devices are expected to feature OPPO’s MariSilicon X NPU.
Operating System and User Interface
In addition to the aforementioned details, it is likely that the Reno 10 series will come pre-installed with Android 13 and have OPPO’s ColorOS 13.1 interface layered on top.
