Oppo, the renowned Chinese tech giant, is gearing up to launch its Reno 10 series in the Indian market. Prior to its official release, the company provided a glimpse of the upcoming Reno 10 Pro+ model, showcasing its cutting-edge camera technology. Let’s delve into the details of this exciting development.

Innovative Periscope Lens Featured in Oppo Reno 10 Pro+

The flagship Reno 10 Pro+ model from Oppo will introduce a revolutionary periscope lens to its rear camera module. This new lens not only enhances the device’s overall slimness and lightweight design but also offers innovative functionality. With the periscope lens, users can enjoy up to 3x optical zoom, enabling them to capture stunning portrait shots.

Unlike traditional telephoto shooters found in smartphones, the periscope lens allows users to take portrait shots not only from the primary wide sensor but also from the telephoto lens. Portrait shots deliver a soft bokeh effect and effectively compress distant elements in a scene, such as monuments, mountains, or buildings in the background. Oppo achieved this slim design by employing a periscope arrangement, stacking, and turning the lenses sideways.

Unparalleled Camera Capabilities

The telephoto portrait camera of the Reno 10 Pro+ boasts an impressive 64-megapixel resolution, currently the highest in the industry for a 1/2-inch image sensor. With its 3x optical zoom and hybrid zoom technology, the device can achieve an astonishing 120x magnification. Moreover, the sensor offers a minimum focus distance of 25cm, allowing for stunning close-up shots. Oppo’s Reno 10 series aims to deliver a flagship-grade mobile photography experience.

The Reno 10 Pro+ model also features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor, boasting a size of 1/1.56 inches and equipped with optical image stabilization. Additionally, the device incorporates an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra-wide-angle lens, providing a generous 112-degree field of view. On the front, users can rely on the 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera, which supports autofocus and facial recognition even in low-light conditions.

A Promising Future for Oppo’s Camera Technology

Oppo’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of mobile photography is evident in the Reno 10 Pro+. By introducing the periscope lens and incorporating high-resolution sensors, the company aims to deliver exceptional camera capabilities to users. With a focus on both versatility and quality, Oppo is set to provide a flagship-grade imaging experience with its Reno 10 series.

Stay tuned for the official launch of the Reno 10 series, where Oppo will unveil the complete range of features and specifications, promising a new era of mobile photography for smartphone enthusiasts.
