OPPO, the renowned smartphone manufacturer, has recently launched its highly anticipated Reno 10 series in China. This new lineup includes the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ models, all equipped with cutting-edge features such as high-end Qualcomm and MediaTek chipsets, as well as dedicated triple-rear cameras.

 

Reno 10 Series Debuts in China

OPPO’s latest series, the Reno 10, has made its debut in China, featuring three models: the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+. Alongside these smartphones, OPPO also unveiled a range of additional products.

 

OPPO’s Teasers and Unveiling

.OPPO had been teasing the launch of the Reno 10 series on its official Weibo account, revealing some key specifications. Finally, the company has lifted the curtain on the OPPO Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+ in China. While the Pro and Pro+ models share many specifications, there are some differences. It is expected that OPPO will release these smartphones in global markets, including India, in the coming months. Let’s delve into the pricing and specifications of these newly launched devices.

 

Pricing and Availability of OPPO Reno 10 Series

The base variant of the Reno 10, equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, is priced at approximately RMB 2,499 (around Rs 29,340). The middle variant, with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, is available for RMB 2,799 (around Rs 32,862), while the top variant with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at RMB 2,999 (around Rs 35,210). The Reno 10 and 10 Pro models come in three color options: Gold, Blue, and Black.

 

The Reno 10 Pro starts at RMB 3,499 (around Rs 41,100) for the variant with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant is priced at RMB 3,899 (around Rs 45,780). On the other hand, the Reno 10 Pro+ is available at RMB 3,899 (around Rs 45,780) for the base variant and RMB 4,299 (around Rs 50,475) for a similar variant. The top-end Reno 10 Pro+ is offered in Gold, Purple, and Black color options. Pre-bookings for these smartphones have already begun in China, with an expected launch in India in June.

 

Specifications of OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+

The OPPO Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ boast a stunning 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. With a refresh rate of 120Hz, peak brightness of 1400 nits, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and ProXDR technology, these smartphones offer an immersive visual experience. The Pro variant is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset built on a 4nm process, while the Reno 10 Pro+ features the lower-frequency Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.

 

Both smartphones are paired with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. They run on Color OS 13 based on Android 13 out of the box. While the chipsets differ, there is also a slight variation in the camera setup between the two models in the Reno 10 Pro series. The Pro variant boasts a triple-rear camera setup, with a primary 50MP Sony IMX 890 sensor featuring f/1.8 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).

 

The primary sensor is accompanied by a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto lens with f/2.0 aperture, providing 2x optical zoom support, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a field of view of 112°. On the other hand, the Reno 10 Pro+ features a larger 64MP telephoto periscope lens with f/2.5 aperture and OIS, replacing the 32MP sensor found in the Pro variant.

 

Both smartphones offer a 32MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture, housed within a centered punch-hole design. The Pro variant is equipped with a slightly smaller 4600mAh battery compared to the 4700mAh battery found in the Reno 10 Pro+. Both models support 100W fast charging technology. The Reno 10 Pro+ weighs 194 grams, while the Reno 10 Pro weighs 186 grams.

 

Specifications of OPPO Reno 10

The vanilla Reno 10 shares a similar display, albeit with a lower FHD+ resolution and a peak brightness of 950 nits, and lacks ProXDR technology. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. However, the 8GB and 12GB RAM variants with 256GB storage utilize LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

 

The Reno 10 features a similar rear camera setup to the Reno 10 Pro, with a primary 64MP OmniVision sensor boasting an f/1.7 aperture. The device also features the same 32MP selfie camera found on other Reno 10 series smartphones. It is supported by a 4600mAh battery with 80W fast charging capability. All smartphones in the Reno 10 series are equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock functionality.
