POCO, the Xiaomi-owned smartphone brand, has been in the news lately due to its upcoming smartphone launches. Recently, a global variant of the POCO C55 was spotted on the NBTC certification website and Geekbench benchmarking platform. The device is expected to be an affordable entry-level smartphone and is likely to be launched soon in global markets, including India.

The POCO C55 global variant has been listed on the NBTC certification website with the model number M2010K7BI. According to the listing, the device will support dual-SIM connectivity and will run on Android 11. The device is expected to come with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, which is a popular processor in the entry-level segment. The chipset is expected to be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

In addition, the POCO C55 global variant has also been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The device has scored 361 points in the single-core test and 1295 points in the multi-core test. The benchmark results reveal that the POCO C55 global variant will come with the same Helio G85 SoC and 4GB of RAM, as previously mentioned.

In terms of design, the POCO C55 global variant is expected to feature a waterdrop-style notch display with slim bezels on the sides. The device will also come with a 5000mAh battery and a micro-USB connector, which is a disappointment for many users who were expecting a USB Type-C connector. The device will likely be available in multiple color options.

As mentioned earlier, the POCO C55 global variant is expected to be an affordable entry-level smartphone. The device is likely to be priced around the INR 10,000 mark in India. With its Helio G85 SoC and 4GB of RAM, the device is expected to provide decent performance for day-to-day usage and light gaming. However, users looking for more powerful smartphones may have to look at other options in the market.

In conclusion, the POCO C55 global variant has been spotted on the NBTC and Geekbench platforms, hinting at an imminent launch in global markets. The device is expected to be an affordable entry-level smartphone with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, 4GB of RAM, and a 5000mAh battery. While the device may not offer top-of-the-line specifications, it is expected to provide decent performance for day-to-day usage and light gaming. The device’s micro-USB connector may disappoint some users, but it is still a good option for those looking for an affordable smartphone in the entry-level segment.
