Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of the Redmi A2 series in India, comprising the Redmi A2 and A2+ models. Originally announced in March 2023 for global markets, the series will soon hit the Indian market with its sleek design and powerful features. Here’s what we know so far.
Powerful MediaTek Helio G36 SoC
Both the A2 and A2+ models sport a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD panel and come equipped with a powerful MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. The smartphones feature a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front and an 8-megapixel dual-camera setup with a secondary depth sensor on the rear. Additionally, both devices are powered by a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports standard 10W charging.
Sleek leather-like design and color options
