NASA has released the findings of its thorough investigation into unexplained aerial phenomena (UAPs), signaling a significant shift in its approach. Rather than dismissing sightings, NASA is now taking a more serious stance on these phenomena.

During the briefing, attention was drawn to two “non-human” cadavers displayed in glass containers during an official presentation at Mexico’s Congress. These preserved specimens, believed to be approximately 1,000 years old, were reportedly unearthed in Cusco, Peru. While David Spergel, head of NASA’s UAP study, expressed intrigue, he admitted to having limited information about their characteristics. He urged the Mexican government to grant global scientific access to these samples, highlighting the importance of data-driven investigations.

Dan Evans, an assistant deputy associate administrator for research at NASA, stressed the need to move away from speculation and conspiracy theories and focus on scientific inquiry. He stated, “Our primary goal today is to shift from speculation and conspiracy theories to a scientific and rational approach, which is achieved through rigorous data analysis.”

During the event in Mexico City, prominent UFO researcher Jaime Maussan testified under oath, claiming that nearly one-third of the DNA in these specimens was “unknown.” He asserted that these specimens did not fit into Earth’s evolutionary history and were not related to a UFO crash but were found in diatom mines and subsequently fossilized. However, Maussan’s credibility has been questioned in the past, particularly regarding a debunked claim of an alien mummy discovery in Peru in 2015.

The recent revelation has left members of the Mexican Congress with mixed feelings, prompting discussions about further examination. NASA’s commitment to data-driven investigations and transparency underscores its new approach to understanding UAPs.
