Xiaomi unveiled its new Android tablet – Pad 5 Pro 12.4 in China. It’s the fourth tablet in the Pad 5 series after Pad 5, Pad 5 Pro, and Pad 5 Pro 5G with an 11-inch display. The latest Pad 5 Pro features a 12.4-inch display and is the most superior offering in the series.

The 12.4-inch variant comes with slimmer bezels, a triple camera on the back, and three storage options.

Launched with the three storage variants – 6GB + 128GB pricing at CNY 2799 (Rs. 33000 approx.), 8GB + 256GB pricing at CNY 3299 (Rs. 38,900 approx.), and 12GB + 512GB pricing at CNY 3999 (Rs. 47200 approx.).

Pad 5 Pro has a 2.5K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also has a P3 color gamut, HDR10 certification, Dolby vision, and high brightness of up to 500 nits. The new 12.4-inch variant weighs about 624 grams thus measuring 284.96 x 185.23 x 6.66mm. The device has a powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC with a 10000mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The tablet gets to its full battery power from 0-100 in 68 minutes. Having a quad-speaker setup and two microphones, it gives clear video calls and great audio support. The tablet runs on Android 12-based MIUI 13. It also has a triple-camera setup where a 50MP main camera and two 2MP depth-of-field sensors. The secondary camera comes with 20MP and extends its support for selfies. The 12.4-inch Pad 5 Pro comes in three color options – Green, Silver, and Black.
