Vivo, a leading smartphone manufacturer, has launched the latest additions to its T1 lineup in India, the T2 and T2x 5G smartphones. These phones are equipped with dual circular camera sensors and a waterdrop notch for the front camera.
Vivo T2: Key Features and Specifications
The Vivo T2 boasts a 6.38-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a brightness of 1300 nits. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC with Adreno 619GB GPU for graphics and runs on the Funtouch operating system, which is a custom skin based on Android 13.
The T2 comes with 128GB of storage that can be expanded with a microSD card and has 6GB/8GB of RAM. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor for added security. On the back, the phone has a dual-camera setup with a 64MP OIS and EIS primary sensor and a 2MP bokeh secondary sensor. The front camera is 16MP, ideal for selfies and video calls.
The phone supports USB Type-C, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual-band Wi-Fi for data sync and charging. It also comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging, and it weighs 172 grams with dimensions of 158.91 x 73.53 x 7.80 inches.
Vivo T2x 5G: Key Features and Specifications
The Vivo T2x 5G has a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It features an 8-megapixel front camera and a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth lens, and an LED flash. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 13 based on Android 13 and has a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
The T2x 5G is powered by the Dimensity 6020 SoC, which supports up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. It has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. The phone weighs 184 grams and has dimensions of 164.05 x 75.6 x 8.15mm.
Both the T2 and T2x 5G support microSD cards via a hybrid SIM slot, dual SIM, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo T2 is priced at Rs 18,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and Rs 20,999 for the 8GB/128GB model. It comes in two color options, Velocity Wave and Nitro Blaze. Flipkart and the Vivo India website will offer a free EMI for three months and an instant Rs 1,500 discount. The phone will be available for purchase starting on April 18, 2023.
The Vivo T2x comes in three variations, 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB, priced at Rs 12,999, Rs 13,999, and Rs 15,999, respectively. The phone is available in Marine Blue, Aurora Gold, and Glimmer Black color options.
