Samsung has recently teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A24, at the release event of the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy A54 5G. The Galaxy A24 is expected to be a budget-friendly smartphone with some impressive features. Ahead of the official launch, leaked renders and specifications have been circulating online, courtesy of WinFuture and SnoppyTech. Here’s everything we know about the Galaxy A24 so far.

Design and Display

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to come in three color options – Green, Dark, and Silver. The latest renders show the device in all three variants. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels). The display is rumored to have a 90Hz refresh rate and an Infinity-U notch.

Processor and Performance

The Galaxy A24 is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. The smartphone is said to come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. According to WinFuture, the Galaxy A24 will come pre-loaded with Android 12, although a previous Geekbench listing suggested that the device was running on Android 13.

Camera

On the rear, the Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to sport a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the device could come with a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls. The device is expected to have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security.

Battery and Charging

The Galaxy A24 is expected to be powered by a 5000mAh battery, with support for 15W charging over a Type-C port. However, a TUV certificate suggests that the device will support 25W fast charging. It is possible that Samsung could include a 15W charging adapter in the retail box. The device is also expected to feature Dolby Atmos sound support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Other Features

The Samsung Galaxy A24 is expected to come with a dedicated microSD card slot that can accept external cards of up to 1TB. The device is expected to feature NFC support and dual SIM connectivity. According to leaked information, the Galaxy A24 is expected to be priced at around € 200, which is roughly Rs 18,000, for the 4GB + 128GB variant.

Conclusion

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A24 appears to be an impressive budget-friendly smartphone with some decent features. With a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, a 50MP camera, a 5000mAh battery, and Dolby Atmos sound support, the device offers good value for money. The leaked renders suggest that the Galaxy A24 could launch in the Middle East soon. With the official launch just around the corner, Samsung fans are eagerly waiting for more information on this exciting new smartphone.
