Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) Program

MG introduces the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership model with the Windsor EV. This rental program is designed to make electric mobility more affordable by eliminating the upfront battery cost. Under BaaS, customers pay Rs 3.5 per km for battery usage, which significantly reduces operating costs to nearly 40% of traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. This innovative model ensures greater accessibility for EV adoption in India.

Exterior Design

The MG Windsor EV brings a sleek, minimalist design while retaining a modern look through various stylish elements. Its connected LED DRLs at the front and LED tail lights at the rear enhance its futuristic appearance. The headlights are integrated into the bumper, while a prominent MG logo adorns the front fascia.

On the sides, the EV boasts 18-inch alloy wheels with an aerodynamic design and flush door handles that give it a sleek and clean profile. The charging flap is located on the front left fender, and the EV is available in four striking color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.

Cabin & Interior Features

Inside the Windsor EV, MG continues the premium feel with an all-black cabin that includes wooden trim and bronze accents. The black leatherette seats, flat-bottom steering wheel, and reclining rear seats (up to 135 degrees) provide comfort and luxury. The rear seats are also equipped with a center armrest for added convenience.

In terms of technology, the Windsor EV shines with a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the largest screen ever in an MG vehicle in India. Other tech-savvy features include an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charging, automatic climate control, powered front seats, powered tailgate, and a panoramic glass roof, exclusive to the India-spec model.
