iQOO has announced an extended software update cycle for its flagship iQOO 12, ensuring the device remains up to date with the latest Android versions for a longer period. Originally launched in 2023 with a three-year OS update promise, the company has now committed to four years of Android updates and five years of security patches, aligning it with the upcoming iQOO 13.

iQOO 12 Software Update Policy Extended

The iQOO 12 debuted in 2023 with Android 14-based Funtouch OS.

With the updated policy, it will now receive OS updates until 2027 and security patches until 2028.
