Design Changes in the OnePlus 12
Based on the leaked renders, the OnePlus 12 seems to maintain a similar design to its predecessor with some minor refinements. The device showcases a sleek and slim profile, featuring the characteristic alert slider and power button on the right side, and volume rocker keys on the left edge. It comes in a glossy Black color, along with OnePlus’ signature sandstone finish.
Front and Back Details
On the front, the OnePlus 12 boasts minimal bezels around the display, delivering an immersive viewing experience. The device features a small center-aligned punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, a departure from the top left position seen in previous OnePlus flagships. The bottom edge of the smartphone houses a speaker grille and a USB-C port for connectivity.
Moving to the back of the device, the OnePlus 12 retains the distinctive half-pill-shaped island design in a glossy finish, extending from the side frame. Within this island, a circular camera module is situated, showcasing a revised sensor alignment. The module houses two lenses at the top and an intriguing periscope lens below, as previously reported. The periscope lens stands out with a distinct Black strip, giving the device a unique aesthetic. Notably, OnePlus has relocated the LED flash from the circular module to the top left corner of the pill-shaped island.
Expected Specifications
According to previous leaks and rumors, the OnePlus 12 is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, offering high-performance capabilities. It is also expected to support fast charging technology, with rumors suggesting 150W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling.
As the leaks continue to surface and the launch date approaches, OnePlus enthusiasts eagerly await the official unveiling of the OnePlus 12. With its refined design and potential flagship features, the OnePlus 12 aims to make a mark in the highly competitive smartphone market.
