After multiple leaks and speculations, OPPO has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming F29 series in India. The lineup, which succeeds the OPPO F27 series, consists of two models OPPO F29 and OPPO F29 Pro. Alongside the launch date, the brand has also revealed key design elements, features, and colour options of the smartphones.

OPPO F29 Series India Launch Date and Availability

The OPPO F29 and F29 Pro will launch in India on March 20.

The smartphones will be available for purchase via Flipkart and the OPPO e-store, with dedicated microsites already live.

OPPO F29 Series Design and Build

The OPPO F29 series features a premium design, with durability enhancements and a 360-degree Armour Body to protect against falls and environmental conditions.

The OPPO F29 has a square-shaped camera module with dual-camera sensors and an LED flash.

The OPPO F29 Pro features a circular camera module, also housing two sensors and an LED flash.

The devices sport flat displays with a center-positioned punch-hole cutout for the front camera and slim bezels.

Power and volume buttons are located on the right edge.

The bottom houses a USB Type-C port, SIM tray, speaker grille, and microphone, while another microphone is placed on the top.

Durability Enhancements

The Sponge Bionic cushioning inside the OPPO F29 series absorbs impact from accidental drops, reducing potential damage.

The battery cover and side frame are slightly elevated, adding an extra layer of protection.

OPPO has incorporated aerospace-grade aluminium alloy in the internal frame, which improves structural integrity by 10% compared to its predecessor.

The devices are SGS-tested in India and hold IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, making them resistant to dust and water.
