Samsung has officially unveiled the much-anticipated Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ at its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year. The flagship devices come with significant upgrades in design, performance, and camera technology, aiming to set new standards in the premium smartphone segment. The Samsung Galaxy S25 starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 69,100) for the 12GB+128GB model, while the 12GB+256GB version is priced at $859 (roughly Rs. 74,300). Pricing for the 12GB+512GB variant is yet to be announced. In India, the Galaxy S25 begins at Rs. 80,999.

 

The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is priced at $999 (roughly Rs. 86,400) for the 12GB+256GB model, with the 12GB+512GB version available for $1,119 (roughly Rs. 96,700). Indian pricing for the Galaxy S25+ starts at Rs. 99,999.

 

Both models are available in Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow, with additional exclusive colors Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold available through Samsung’s website. Pre-orders begin today, and sales in the US will start on February 7.

Both devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip paired with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM, offering smooth multitasking and faster app performance. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, though the Galaxy S25 does not feature the 512GB variant in all markets.

The triple rear camera setup includes:

 

50MP primary sensor with 2x in-sensor zoom, OIS, and f/1.8 aperture.

12MP ultra-wide sensor with a 120-degree field of view and f/2.2 aperture.

10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, OIS, and f/2.4 aperture.

 

The front camera on both models features a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture for sharp selfies and video calls.
